Seven Goals of the training course

After completion of the nine-lesson Interactive Self-Study CD, you should:

  • Understand the flow of application development in the Clarion IDE.
  • Understand the core concepts of a successful database design.
  • Work with the metadata stored in the Clarion Data Dictionary
  • Understand how to utilize the code generation and re-use features of the Clarion Application Generator.
  • Understand the rich set of template tools that are available for your application design.
  • Become familiar with the Window formatter designing menus, data browse controls, field picure entry patterns, update windows, and reports.
  • Understand the process of packaging and distributing your completed application to end-users.
     

System Requirements:

  • Clarion 5 or 5.5
  • CD-ROM, sound card and speakers
  • Windows Media Player
  • 32-bit version of Windows
  • 800 x 600 resolution at 256 color display (1024 x 768 at 64k colors is recommended)
